The Blue Crab offers all-you-can-eat crabs in the heart of downtown Bethany Beach and is just steps from the bustling boardwalk. Founded in 2004, The Blue Crab is family-owned and operated by Tim Haley. Nothing is frozen or pre-made at The Blue Crab. They use fresh jumbo crab meat from real blue crabs, they use local produce in dishes and their chicken arrives fresh. The aforementioned all-you-can-eat feasts make The Blue Crab unique. Whether you order the blue crab, shrimp or chicken, The Blue Crab guarantees a feast. The Blue Crab received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellent in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Business is booming and in 2012, The Blue Crab expanded with the Bethany Oyster House, which is located directly next door and serves the freshest oysters, clams, and mussels in Bethany Beach. The Bethany Oyster House has a raw and steamer bar, offering oyster shooters, steamed shrimp, and steamed clams. We recommend visiting for happy hour when oysters are only $1.
