What’s been happening in the Coastal Delaware Real Estate Market for January 2022? We’re here to recap the previous month, and answer all of your questions!

One number in particular that we look at is the number of new listings that have recently come on the market. This number is DOWN 37% from the same time a year ago. We are only sitting on a months supply of inventory right now – that is crazy! So, how does this effect the market overall? 

With there being such a low supply, and such a high demand, homes are flying off the market 56% faster than last year! Additionally, with our median sales price seeing a 29% INCREASE, and with values set to rise, if you’re thinking about buying- now is the perfect time to pull the trigger! 

What about selling? If you want to move into a different market, or sell to move into a bigger home, this is the perfect time! We are seeing that selling in the lower price bracket is bringing the highest amount of competition among buyers.
