Sometimes, the best local finds are the ones you almost miss—and The Pantry at the Station in Fenwick Island, Delaware is one of those places.

Located just across the street from the beach, The Pantry is the kind of spot that instantly makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. It has that cute, welcoming café feel, with friendly faces, delicious food, freshly baked goods, coffee, and plenty of little treasures to browse while you’re there.

 

A Little Bit of Everything

One of the things I loved most about The Pantry is that it’s so much more than a coffee shop. You can stop in for breakfast or lunch, grab a freshly baked treat, pick up a coffee to take to the beach, or browse their selection of Italian goods and locally sourced items.

And if you’re looking for a unique gift, this is such a fun place to shop. They have cute merchandise, specialty foods, and plenty of things that feel a little more personal than your typical souvenir.

Peach Season Called, So I Had to Try It 

Since it’s peach season, I couldn’t resist ordering the Peach Vanilla Latte. It was the perfect summer combination—sweet, refreshing, and just peachy enough without being overpowering.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without trying one of their sandwiches, either. I went with the Gemma, which comes loaded with toppings and was seriously delicious. It’s exactly the kind of sandwich you want after a morning at the beach or before heading back out to explore Fenwick Island.

Don’t Skip the Pantry Shelves

Another thing that makes The Pantry so special is the selection of food and goods throughout the shop. Their refrigerator is filled with drinks, cheeses, hummus, dips, and other goodies, including locally sourced items that are perfect for bringing home or sharing.
